Well, it’s Labor Day weekend again and another summer coming to an end. I haven’t spent all that much time sewing but many hours experimenting with fabric painting and have greatly improved my ability to mix primary colors to get just the shade I’m looking for. My current project is a whole-cloth beach scene painted with added applique and thread painting. I’m now working on the quilting which will define the major areas of sand, sea and sky and hopefully make the piece.
