Vegetables are a favorite subject of mine, especially peppers because they are so vibrantly colored and come is so many sizes and shapes. I love the combination of sizes and colors in this 9 x 12 still life. I had a hard time finishing this piece as I found it difficult to blend the colors consistently each time I returned to it so did a lot of reworking. I’m fairly happy with it but wish I had used a larger canvas or reduced the drawing a bit to include more white space around them.
