I’ve been working on this 11 x 14 painting off and on for a few months. It’s from a couple of my favorite photos taken at Grey’s Beach on Cape Cod on a perfect morning. It’s such a happy scene, man and his dog, eager for an adventure. It was a challenging painting as water scenes can be and loaded with details. I enjoyed working and reworking water reflections and boat shading and rails. As with every painting, I just knew I was at the point where it was time to stop fiddling with it.
