Recently finished this 10″ x 10″ acrylic on canvas. It’s from a photo I took of these lone lilies at the edge of a yard in Hopedale. Just two perfect lilies standing in a patch of sun. It seemed like a straight-forward project but turned out to be way more detailed and time-consuming than I expected. As with any piece of artwork, there’s typically a lot of analyzing and reworking that happens but you have to know when it’s time to quit. I’m pretty happy with the final piece.
