My quilt, Rose’s Garden, was chosen as a finalist in the Quilting Arts magazine ‘In The Garden’ Reader’s Challenge and appears in the June/July issue. I just received my copy in the mail today and was thrilled to see it was featured on the first page of the article!

This quilt was created from a photo of my sister’s grand daughter, Rose, who was planting some peppers I had given her. It’s a mixture of fabric painting, applique and thread embellishment.
