This painting is from another great shot my daughter took of our granddaughter and her friends looking out of the train at Edaville Railroad. I immediately loved this captured moment of them huddled together and excitedly taking in the sights and how the little boy in the middle pulls it all together by hugging and squeezing his two friends into the small space so all could see equally well. of course that he had on his engineer’s cap was so appropriate.

I totally enjoyed painting this and working out the various details. Still have a couple small details to touch up but nearly there now
